A naturopath takes a whole-person approach to health — looking at your diet, lifestyle, environment, and health history to identify the root causes of your symptoms. Rather than treating the symptom in isolation, a naturopath creates a personalised plan using nutrition, herbal medicine, and lifestyle support to help your body heal itself.

Your initial consultation is up to 90 minutes. Cherry will take a thorough health history, ask about your body systems, diet, sleep, stress, and health goals. Following the session you receive a personalised Treatment Plan covering nutritional recommendations, lifestyle adjustments, and any herbal formulas or supplements suited to your needs.

Yes — all naturopathic consultations (initial, follow-up, acute and support sessions) are available online, so you can access care from anywhere in New Zealand. Massage and bodywork treatments require an in-person visit to the clinic in Trentham, Upper Hutt.

An initial consultation is $250 (up to 90 minutes). Follow-up consultations are $125 (up to 45 minutes). Acute consultations are $90 (up to 30 minutes) and are available to clients seen within the last 12 months. Herbal formulas and supplements are an additional cost where prescribed.

Naturopathy draws on both traditional knowledge and contemporary scientific research. Cherry's approach is evidence-informed — meaning recommendations are grounded in peer-reviewed research where it exists, combined with clinical experience. She works collaboratively with your GP and other health professionals where appropriate.

No referral is needed. You can book directly online through the booking system, or get in touch by phone or email if you would like to ask a question first. Cherry sees clients of all ages for both acute and ongoing health concerns.

Please give 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice incur a charge for the missed appointment. Payment is due on the day of your session — cash, online credit card, and electronic bank transfer are all accepted.

Yes — Naturopathy is designed to complement your GP's care, not replace it. I work alongside your doctor to support your whole-person health — addressing root causes through nutrition, herbal medicine and lifestyle — while you continue any tests, treatment or medications your GP has recommended. I always encourage you to keep your GP informed about the natural remedies and supplements you're taking, as some herbs and nutrients can interact with prescription medicines. With your consent, I'm happy to liaise with your GP so everyone supporting your health is working from the same picture. And if something in a consultation suggests you need medical investigation or urgent care, I'll refer you back to your doctor. The two work best together: conventional medicine for diagnosis and acute care, naturopathy for whole-person, root-cause support.
